WHAT A WACKY WEEK

Well, what can I say.  Faery Willow attended a fabulous Wacky Wedding on Wednesday.  Pete and Vera became husband and wife in style, and celebrated with their closest friends.
Faery Willow went along and took her moo trolley and nap sack full of face painty goodness with lots of faery dust, to add some extra sparkle to the celebrations.
Wonderland Face Art was a hit!

The setting was spectacular - Peckforton Castle!  As Faery Willow drove through the main gate the TV Crew from Living TV's Four Weddings were busy setting up their kit, she became more and more nervous realising that her work would be featuring in TV!!!!  OMG!!!!!

The guests of the wedding were arriving, but not one of them knew what was in store for the day!  As Faery Willow entered the Castle, the Great Hall was in the process of being set up for a wonderful Wonderland Tea Party, with Wacky Wedding centrepieces created by the couple in question.  The cakes looked divine, and the giant cups and saucers brough a colourful riot to the tables.

Wonderland Face Art set up kit in the Library, Faery Willow did quite well not to get lost in the Castle and left a trail of faery dust so she knew her way back to the Library.  Already in the Library she met a fabulous group of entertainers from around the world, from Lily (gives you goosebumps) singer, Locomotion Free Runners to Basil Fawlty and the amazing talented Miss Dani California.

So Faery Willow got to work, with her marvellous array of colours she painted a Tramp first, who would be walking through at mealtime, then she got to paint the boys from Locomotion Free Runners as cats, and each one had their own personality.  Whilst all the guests went outside to have an exercise warm up (yes that's right a warm up to the big day)  Faery Willow started painting a dainty Queen of Hearts tattoo on her hand, it took the best part of a day to do in between painting the acts!

Faery Willow gathered some of her kit to rush down to the Great Hall to paint the Bride and Groom.  Vera had a stunning Queen of Hearts outfit, so Willow worked her Wonderland Face Art magic and came up with a simple but effective swirly design using the deck of cards suite as inspiration.  She forgot a couple of paints and dashed back to the Library, but fell flat on her face and injured her poor little wings, knee and hand.
As she walked through to the Library, Boy George was singing and decided to do a little jig with Faery Willow, she put on a brave face and because she loves to dance she did a little twirl with Boy George!

Then it was time for a little break, Faery Willow went to the Tea Party and wasn't even late!  The tables were adorned with sandwiches in a fabulous array of colours, she got to sit with Boy George who has such a fun outlook!

The day moved swiftly with lots to see and do, we were entertained by singers, burlesque routines, magicians, wedding crasher, Basil and Manuel!  Wow what a day to remember for Wonderland Face Art!
